Samanda Stevenson

Samanda Stevenson serves as the Executive Director of The Blanchard Institute’s North and South Charlotte locations. Since joining The Blanchard Institute in 2020, she has held a variety of leadership and clinical roles, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of the organization’s mission, programs, and commitment to client care.

As a dually licensed therapist, Samanda brings extensive clinical expertise to her leadership role. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) and is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate the challenges associated with mental health and substance use disorders.

Samanda’s professional background includes work in law enforcement, specifically probation and parole, where she gained valuable experience supporting individuals through accountability, personal growth, and life transitions. Her unique combination of clinical knowledge, leadership experience, and public service background allows her to approach treatment with both compassion and practical insight.

As a proud alumnus of The Blanchard Institute and a person in long-term recovery, Samanda brings authenticity and hope to her work. She understands firsthand the transformative power of recovery and is dedicated to creating an environment where clients, families, and staff can grow, heal, and thrive. Her greatest professional passion is helping people overcome challenges, recognize their strengths, and build meaningful lives in recovery.
